Curtin Connect Equity and Access support

Bridging gaps, building futures: Our commitment to equity.

Given that everyone’s path to university is unique, it’s understandable that the challenges students encounter when studying can vary significantly.

At Curtin Connect, the Student Equity and Access team is dedicated to supporting domestic students who face unique challenges during their university journey. We are committed to ensuring that every student has access to the necessary resources and support to succeed academically and personally. Our team provides a comprehensive range of services aimed at empowering students, facilitating networking opportunities, and connecting them with essential support services. We strive to create an inclusive and supportive environment that enables students to achieve their full potential and navigate their educational path with confidence.

Members of any of the inclusive student communities below will be given exclusive access to direct, quick-response communication channels to ensure they receive the help they need as quickly as possible.

Our Indigenous Student Support Officers understand the importance of embedding a sense of belonging within your academic journey and are available to support you with the many aspects of your unique student experience.

In addition to offering many great networking opportunities throughout the year, we can also provide you additional resources via our unique Grounding Plan, a tailor-made tool designed to assist you in achieving your study goals.

If you’re one of our many students undertaking study from different corners of this vast country, you’d know that while rewarding, distance education presents distinct challenges of its own.

Our team will work with you to ensure you are connected to all of the support available to you, including resources accessible at Curtin’s rural campus in Kalgoorlie, or even through our partnerships with WA’s Regional University Study Hubs.

Our dedicated communication channels and call back options will enable you to access support quickly and easily, whenever you need it.
