Congratulations! All your hard work has paid off. It’s time to enjoy your graduation ceremony with your loved ones. Read through the important information bellow to make sure it’s a day to remember.

Arrive at venue | You have a big day ahead of you.
We recommend arriving at the venue two hours before you are seated for the ceremony begins. This will allow you to have enough time to find parking, and complete pre-ceremony preparation. |

Vaccination check | Please head to Edinburgh Oval South for regalia collection. Prior to this, please have your proof of vaccinations ready (either the ServiceWA App or a copy of your digital certificate) |
Regalia collection | Collect your academic regalia, and get fitted out by our regalia and ticketing partner GFP Events. |
Graduate briefing | Find out all you need to know about your role from the graduate procession, to finding your seat, to crossing the stage, how to doff, the charge to graduates, and the reception after the ceremony. |

Our campus has many safe and secure car parks available throughout the campus for students, staff and visitors. There are plenty of parking options available and our pay-as-you-go system means you only pay for the time you park on campus.
Arrival time
February graduation ceremonies at Curtin’s Perth campus start at 6.30pm. It’s best to arrive one hour before the ceremony starts to allow enough time to park, attend the graduate briefing, find your seat and collect your academic regalia.

Upon entry, event staff will direct you to the graduate briefing (see more info below).
Briefing
Find out all you need to know about your role from the graduate procession, to finding your seat, to crossing the stage, how to doff, the charge to graduates, and the reception after the ceremony. Event staff will direct you to the briefing upon arrival.
Graduate procession
Graduates will proceed to their seats, guided by event staff.
Seat number
Refer to your ticket to find your seat number.
GFP
If you are attending a graduation ceremony in Perth, Kalgoorlie or Singapore you can hire or purchase Curtin academic regalia from our official provider GFP Graduations. Information regarding regalia hire for ceremonies at other locations will be provided by your campus.
Collection
Upon arrival, you will collect your academic regalia and be fitted out by our regalia and ticketing partner GFP Events.

Guest tickets
Guest tickets will be issued electronically to the guest’s mobile phone. All guests must display their electronic ticket to gain entry into the venue. Guests will not be able to enter without a valid ticket. If a guest does not have a mobile phone, their ticket can be sent to the mobile of an attending guest.
All graduates will receive two complimentary guest tickets. Doctoral graduates will receive four complimentary guest tickets.
All ceremony information regarding guest ticket allocation will be included in the graduate’s registration confirmation official communication.
Curtin University adheres to government guidelines regarding Covid-19 venue capacity restrictions.
Children under 3
Children under 3 years of age do not require a ticket.
GFP
GFP Events are Curtin’s preferred supplier of celebration packs, graduation photography, and memorabilia.
If you are feeling unwell and begin to display symptoms of COVID-19 (a fever, cough or other respiratory symptoms, or a sudden loss of taste or smell), or you think you have been exposed to the virus, we ask you to call the State Government’s Coronavirus Information Helpline 1326843 or your own doctor for advice. If you visit a COVID-19 clinic to be tested for the virus, please self-isolate until you have been cleared of COVID-19.
