Before submitting an enquiry we recommend that you:
- view the academic calendar to note semester dates. Teaching venues, particularly large lecture theatres, are in high demand during semesters. Teaching activities take priority over external booking requests, which may impact requests with all-day duration.

COVID-19 Vaccination Policy – External Stakeholders and Visitors
Curtin University (ABN 99 143 842 569) (we or us) is committed to providing a safe campus for all our staff, students and community members.
For that reason, under our COVID-19 Vaccination Policy (Policy) we require our external stakeholders and visitors in Western Australia who attend a Curtin campus or facility, or who participate in an activity that is organised or facilitated by us that involves physical interaction with others, to provide evidence they are vaccinated against COVID-19 or have an exemption.
External Stakeholders and Visitors who wish to attend a campus or facility, or to participate in a University activity involving physical interaction with others, must have received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine by 21 February and a second by 21 March 2022. After 21 March 2022, these people will also need have received a third or booster within one month of becoming eligible. Exemptions apply.
You may need to update your COVID-19 digital certificate for it to show you have received your third dose. To do this delete your old digital certificate from your ServiceWA app and then follow these steps to upload an updated COVID-19 digital certificate that includes your booster dose.
Visitors will be required to show evidence of vaccination status upon entry to some University buildings/premises and may be required to produce this evidence while on campus grounds when asked.
Visitors to campus may be asked to show proof of vaccination while on campus grounds, prior to entry of University spaces, buildings or in order to participate in activities on campus. Visitors should always carry evidence of their vaccination information, to confirm their eligibility to be on campus if asked. Evidence can include:
- Australian Government COVID-19 Digital Certificate;
- Immunisation Statement recorded on the Australian Immunisation Register;
- International COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate issued by the Australian Government; or
- other evidence approved by Curtin’s Chief Operating Officer or Provost (or their delegate)
Curtin’s Policy is in addition to any Government directions that apply to you.
Vaccination is a crucial way of protecting the health, safety and wellbeing of our community. Thank you for your ongoing support.
