Student details and ID

Your student identification (ID), also called your Curtin ID or student ID, is your eight digit student number. You will find this on your letter of offer or any official correspondence.

Your student number

You need your student number:

  • To activate your OASIS account after enrolment
  • On all assignments and examinations
  • On all correspondence with Curtin
  • To use Curtin Library digital services.

Unique Student Identifier (USI)

The Unique Student Identifier (USI) is a government-issued reference code that identifies you as someone who has commenced or undertaken education or training within Australia. You keep the same USI for life as it’s your national education number.

It is a requirement that all Curtin students currently studying in an Australian campus submit their USI to the university.

Curtin Student Guild Membership

Activate your Guild membership by visiting the Guild website. Your Guild membership grants you discounts at all Guild food and retail outlets on campus, access to Guild events, plus more.
