Buddhism is a path of practice and spiritual development leading to insight into the true nature of reality. Buddhist practices like meditation are means of changing yourself in order to develop the qualities of awareness, kindness, and wisdom.
Chaplain: Buddhist Monk Venerable Luang-Phi Rain
Venerable Rain was ordained in 1998 after intensive training at Wat Phradhammakaya, Thailand. He has taught meditation and Buddhist teachings in Thailand, Japan, Germany and Australia, and is now based in the Dhammakaya Meditation Center of WA. His guidance is in the Theravada Buddhist tradition.
The Buddhist Society of Western Australia has a team of volunteers who run meditation on campus each week. Please contact multi-faith services on multifaith@curtin.edu.au to confirm the time and location.
