Your rights at Curtin

At Curtin everyone is encouraged to discuss and debate ideas inside and outside of class. Part of being at university is engaging with new and challenging ideas and developing your own views and perspectives.

It is important to understand your rights while at Curtin. Your rights let you express yourself. But, they also come with the responsibility to respect and preserve the rights of others.

Arriving to a new country and starting university can be an exciting time as you discover new cultures and make new friends. This experience may also be confusing or overwhelming as you encounter new ideas and ways of life that are different from what you are used to back home.
