Graduates who have a sanction on their student record will not be permitted to
receive their award or attend a ceremony. Check for outstanding fees or fines in eStudent via OASIS.
Submit your Unique Student Identifier (USI) and ensure this matches and no sanctions are generated.
All award certificates will be issued in the legal name of the student at the time of conferral. You can update your details in eStudent via OASIS.
As part of the request for graduation, students will be required to approve their
formal name prior to conferral. If a student does not register to graduate prior to the required deadline, it is the student’s responsibility to ensure their formal name is correct.
Please check that your name is correct as per your full legal name. To change your name, please submit the Change of Personal Details form before the advised registration date.
When a student notifies after conferral that they had a change of name effective before the conferral date, a fee will be payable to amend the formal name and reissue the award in the correct name.
An award certificate may be re-issued in a name other than the legal name of the
student at the time of conferral in the limited circumstances of gender re-assignment and witness protection. As a general principle, the re-issue of an award in a new name due to a change in marital circumstances will not be approved.
Also, please check that your address, mobile telephone and personal email address are all accurate so that we can contact you if required.
To receive you award certificate, you must register via the university’s online graduation registration system. Graduation invitations are sent monthly after you have been completed in your course. This invitation will provide access to register to graduate in absentia (mail) or to “attend a future ceremony”.
It is the responsibility of each student to maintain up to date contact details with the University and ensure they continue to read their Official Communications Channel (OCC) messages after course completion and up to the time of receiving their official graduation documentation.
Once graduation ceremony dates are confirmed, they will be published to the university website. Registration for Curtin Bentley Perth graduation ceremonies are sent out twice per year, usually after Semester 1 result release in July and Semester 2 result release end of November/early December.
