Before you graduate Follow the steps below to register to attend a graduation ceremony in-person or graduate in absentia. Ensure you are eligible to graduate In your final study period, make sure your course requirements are met and necessary paperwork complete before your study period result release dates (Academic Calendar). For more information, please contact Curtin Connect. Clear sanctions Check for outstanding fees or fines in eStudent via OASIS. You must clear all sanctions to be eligible to graduate before advised date. To do this, log into OASIS, click eStudent in the my studies tab. Update your details You can update your details in eStudent via OASIS. Please check that your name is correct as per your full legal name. To change your name, please submit the Change of Personal Details form before advised date. *Change of name not allowable if the award has already been conferred by Curtin Council. Also check that your address, mobile telephone and personal email address are all accurate so that we can contact you if required. Register to graduate Graduation invitations are sent out twice per year, usually in July and December. Your graduation invitation will be sent to your Official Communication Channel (OCC) in OASIS and to your personal email address. Follow the instructions in your invitation to register to attend a ceremony, to graduate in absentia or defer your ceremony for up to 12 months after conferral.
