UniReady Enabling Program

There are plenty of ways to get into Curtin. Find the right pathway for you using our pathway finder.

If you don’t meet our minimum admission criteria, the UniReady Enabling Program can help you qualify for entry into a range of undergraduate courses.

  • Cost: free
  • Duration: 17 weeks (includes orientation, tuition-free and exam weeks)
  • Study mode: On-campus, online or a combination of both
  • Intake: semester 1, semester 2
  • Location: Perth campus, Pilbara Universities Centre*, and Kalgoorlie campus*

*Course enrolment is online, with additional face to face and online support offered via the Pilbara University Centre and the Curtin Kalgoorlie campus.

When you complete the program, you will fulfil Curtin’s minimum admission criteria of a 70 ATAR and English language proficiency to apply for the courses listed below.

Courses

UniReady will give you the criteria required to apply for direct entry into the below courses. Where applicable, you can apply for double majors and double degrees so long as UniReady meets the entry criteria for both majors or courses.

You may be eligible to apply for other courses if you meet the course prerequisites.

Some courses require you to complete specific UniReady units and/or achieve a certain level in your UniReady units – these courses are marked with a #.

Please note: some courses only have a semester 1 intake, so if you start UniReady in semester 1, you will not be able to start these degree courses until semester 1 the following year. Check the course intake on the individual course page.

Courses with higher level entry requirements

UniReady can also be a pathway to health, science or engineering courses that have higher-level entry requirements. After completing UniReady, you can enter Health Sciences or Multidisciplinary Science, for example, and then apply to switch into your chosen course once you have completed the required units. Access the quiz below for more information about these courses.

Units

In UniReady, you will study four units: two core units and two optional units. Your optional units should relate to your preferred degree course.

Take the quiz below to find out which optional units you are advised to study in UniReady, based on your intended undergraduate degree.
