What do I do if I think my electronic Commonwealth Assistance Notice (eCAN) is incorrect?

UPDATED 01 JUL 2025 | 2:43AM

If you believe your  is incorrect, you must request a review of your account within 14 days of the date your eCAN was issued. If you withdraw from any units after the study period census date, they will still appear on your eCAN as you are liable to pay the fees.

If you withdraw from any units after the census date due to exceptional circumstances impacting your ability to complete your units, you may apply for refund and remission of fees due to special circumstances. If you have used a HELP loan to pay your fees for the units you are requesting the refund and remission for and your application is approved, the fees will be removed from your HELP debt.
