UPDATED 02 OCT 2023 | 4:46AM

You may apply for a refund or remission of fees if you have a credit of funds in your student account or if you have experienced an adverse and unexpected event that has had a significant impact on your ability to successfully complete your studies after the census date of a particular study period. If you are studying at an Australian campus, Curtin Mauritius, Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology or are an Open Universities Australia (OUA) student in a Commonwealth Supported Place, you can apply via the Refund and remission of fees online form If you are an Open Universities (OUA) student and not in a Commonwealth Supported Place, you can apply for special circumstances via the OUA website. Your application will be assessed in accordance with Curtin's refund policy. Applications will take 28 days from the receipt of your complete application to be processed. If your request is approved you may be eligible for a refund and remission of debt and/or a unit withdrawal (WD) recorded on your transcript.
