How do I pay back my HELP loan?

Once the study period census date has passed, any payments you make towards your HELP loan debt must be paid directly to the Australian Taxation Office (ATO).
You will be required to make repayments to your HELP loan debt once your income is above the minimum threshold for compulsory repayment. You may also make voluntary repayments to the ATO at any time.
