Which database should I use to find information on chemical substances?

The following databases have resources on chemical substances:
  • SciFinder has comprehensive information on chemical substances, structures, reactions, properties, and literature from the Chemical Abstracts Service (CAS). 
  • RSC Publishing (Royal Society of Chemistry) is a database that covers major areas of chemistry. 
  • ScienceDirect offers a large collection of scientific literature, including detailed information on chemical substances.
