I am an international student do I still need to enrol in a full-time study load if I have been granted CRL?
Yes: international students on a subclass 500 student visa are required to maintain full-time enrolment (100 credits per semester – refer to Study Load for further details) to ensure their degree is completed within the normal course duration. This is also required in the event that Credits for Recognised Learning (CRL) is granted. If you need to take a reduced study load (underload), you must first seek approval before making any changes to your enrolment to ensure you are not in breach of your student visa conditions. For more information, please refer to How do I request to reduce my study load?If you have not yet received formal approval, you must enrol in a full-time study load (100 credit points each semester) to remain compliant with your visa requirements.
