Can I sit exams externally?
Based on your address in your eStudent account (place of residence), if you are externally enrolled and residing within 100 kilometres linear distance of a Curtin campus, you will have to sit your exam(s) at that campus, unless you have an approved Curtin Access Plan (CAP) that states otherwise.
If you are enrolled externally and residing more than 100 kilometres linear distance from a Curtin campus, then you will be advised to sit your exam(s) as an online invigilated exam, using Respondus. The university will contact you before the final exam timetable is published to advise you of the details.
If you are internally enrolled, travelling or at a location short-term, you won't be eligible to sit your exam externally and must sit your exam(s) at the campus of your enrolment.
