What is a double degree?

UPDATED 27 AUG 2025 | 3:21AM

A double degree comprises of two individually approved courses that have a condensed course structure. This allows you to study units from both courses simultaneously and be able to complete the double degree in less time than by doing the two courses separately. These courses do not usually contain elective units, and therefore provides less flexibility than a standard single degree.

For example: If you study a Bachelor of Science (3 years), Bachelor of Commerce (3 years) double degree, it will take 4 years instead of 6 years of full time study.
