What is the difference between EndNote and EndNote Online?

EndNote Online (also known as EndNote Web) is the companion web version of the EndNote desktop software. It complements your EndNote library by allowing you to collect references when you are away from your desktop. It also enables you to share your references with your colleagues or, if you are doing a group assignment, the others in your group.
