Can I defer my offer to study at Curtin?

You may be able to defer your offer for a period of up to 12 months. Instructions are listed on our Defer your offer page.
If you changed your mind, and wish to:
- defer for more than 12 months due to extenuating circumstances: submit a request via the online enquiry form. Otherwise, you will need to submit a new application after the 12 months.
- defer for 6 months: the admissions office will contact you with information about recommencing your studies if your desired course has availability in the next intake.
Please note some courses do not accept deferrals.
Deferring TISC Early Offers
TISC Early Offers do not allow deferrals. If you have received an early offer, you will need to wait until you receive your Main Round offer letter to defer. This will be sent to you on the day of main round offers.
