What does my application status mean in the Applicant Portal?

You can find the application status definitions using the chart below:

Note: There may be delays during peak processing times (usually November to February and June to August).
APPLICATION STATUSMEANING
New applicationApplication has been created but not submitted.
Verifying applicationApplication has been submitted and is ready for assessment.
Review in progressApplication is being reviewed by staff.
Assessing applicationApplication is being assessed by staff.
RFI in progress
Applicant must respond to the Request for Information (RFI) for the application to progress.
This status will be updated when the response has been reviewed. 
Ranking in progress
Application is being ranked for final outcome.This status is only relevant to applications for competitive courses.
Academic reviewApplication is being reviewed by the faculty.
FinalisedApplication assessment is complete.
