A major is a series of units within a single discipline combined to satisfy the University’s requirements in a specific learning area (e.g. the Economics major within the Bachelor of Commerce). For most courses, your major/s will be listed on your award certificate. Some Curtin courses allow a choice of one or two majors, whereas other course structures do not contain majors.
The structure of each course and the offered majors can be viewed on the Courses Handbook.
