What are Indigenous Commonwealth Scholarships?

Indigenous Commonwealth Scholarships are funded by the Australian Federal Government. They aim to assist Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students experiencing financial hardship (particularly those from remote and regional areas) to undertake an enabling course, associate degree or bachelor degree at Curtin University. 

Curtin University offers Commonwealth Scholarships such as:

  • Indigenous Commonwealth Accommodation and Education Costs Scholarships (ICECS): For eligible Indigenous students undertaking an enabling , associate degree, or bachelor degree who can demonstrate financial hardship and relocated / will be relocating from a regional or remote area to commence their study.
