Enabling programs

If you’re completing a school-based enabling program in Western Australia, or an enabling, foundation or preparation program with another university, you may be eligible to apply to Curtin.

How enabling programs work

Enabling programs are designed to help you prepare for university. Whether you’re in year 11 or 12, returning to study or didn’t meet the ATAR score for your chosen course, these programs can support your pathway into university.

If successfully completed, an enabling program can support your entry into Curtin courses that require a minimum ATAR of 70. When searching for a course, make sure to check your chosen course for any additional prerequisites or higher requirements.

These programs are offered by Curtin and other Australian universities, including school-based enabling programs offered in high schools in Western Australia. If you’re studying or have completed one of these programs, you may be eligible to apply to Curtin.
