Accreditations and professional recognition
EQUIS
CBS is the only business school in Western Australia to hold five-year accreditation by EQUIS, the leading international system of quality assessment.
This global best-practice recognition places CBS in the top one per cent approximately of business schools worldwide and makes it the only ‘triple-accredited’ business school in WA, having already achieved AACSB accreditation and an EFMD Accredited MBA.
AACSB
CBS is recognised as an elite global business school through accreditation by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) International.
AACSB accreditation is awarded to business schools that meet the strict standards of quality academic and professional excellence and is known, worldwide, as the longest standing, most recognised form of academic accreditation an institution and its business programs can earn.
EFMD Accredited
Curtin’s MBA and MBA (Advanced) programs are the only courses in Western Australia, and among only five Australian MBA programs, to have achieved EFMD Accredited status from the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD).
This accreditation means the MBA has been assessed as achieving the right balance between high academic quality and practical relevance for students in a global business environment.
For students, this means the quality of their MBA will be recognised and valued wherever they choose to live and work.
PRME
Curtin University is proud to be a signatory to the UN Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME).
Curtin strives to meet global challenges by supporting practical research and teaching that addresses issues and creates solutions for healthy, sustainable and successful societies. Our goal is to benefit the community locally, nationally and internationally, today and in the future.
