Learning, reinvented
The Faculty of Business and Law has a range of clinics, innovative learning and teaching practices and spaces, designed to enhance our students’ study experience.
What’s more, they’re equipped with the same technology that students will be using in their workplaces upon graduation.

Curtin Tax Clinic
The Curtin Tax Clinic is the first clinic of its kind in Australia offering students, under the supervision of experienced tax practitioners, the opportunity to engage in case work directly relevant to their chosen career in taxation.

John Curtin Law Clinic
The John Curtin Law Clinic gives eligible Law students the opportunity to put their legal skills into practice and develop professional skills. Under the supervision of experienced legal practitioners, you will meet with and prepare pro bono advice and information for clients.

Jeanette Hacket Moot Court
The Curtin Law School is home to the high-tech Jeanette Hacket Moot Court, where students participate in simulated court proceedings helping them improve their skills in public speaking and debating, while learning how a real court operates.

Consumer Research Lab
The Consumer Research lab enables students and companies to conduct market research using biometric methods, including mobile devices capable of tracking consumers’ cognitive, attitudinal, affective, and behavioural responses in real-time.

Simulating Wall Street
While the Trading Room is temporarily closed for refurbishments, students will continue to have access to industry standard software either on-campus in alternative teaching venues or online. The Trading Room is estimated to reopen towards the end of 2024.
Business students gain hands-on experience with Refinitiv Eikon trading and analysis software, the tools used by professional stock traders, and get familiar with trading and investing using the stock market simulation tool StockTrack.

Management HQ
Management HQ is temporarily closed due to building refurbishments and is estimated to reopen towards the end of 2024.
This cutting-edge facility simulates real-world corporate decision making and is inspired by neuroscience and space ergonomics.
It uses the latest technology to create an immersive learning environment, designed to help students visualise and assimilate data, formulate strategies, and engage in strategic decision-making, and high-performance teamwork.
