Learning, reinvented
The Faculty of Business and Law has a range of clinics, innovative learning and teaching practices and spaces that are designed to optimise your learning and your study experience. Importantly, our clinics and learning spaces are equipped with the same technology that you’ll use in your professional workplace after you graduate.
Curtin Tax Clinic
The first learning facility of its kind in Australia, the Curtin Tax Clinic gives you the opportunity to engage in casework that is relevant to your career in taxation, under the supervision of experienced tax practitioners.
John Curtin Law Clinic
The John Curtin Law Clinic gives you the opportunity to put your emerging legal and professional skills into practice. Under the supervision of experienced legal practitioners, you’ll engage with clients and prepare pro bono advice.
Jeanette Hacket Moot Court
The Curtin Law School is home to the high-tech Jeanette Hacket Moot Court, where you can participate in simulated court proceedings that will help you develop public speaking and debating skills while learning how a real court operates.
Consumer Research Lab
The Consumer Research lab enables students and companies to conduct market research using biometric methods – including mobile devices that can track consumers’ cognitive, attitudinal, affective and behavioural responses in real time.
Simulating Wall Street
At Curtin, you’ll have simulated stock-trading experience using the LSEG Workspace and be able to conduct technical analyses on stocks and fundamental analyses on financial reports.
