Radiation Monitoring

Curtin workers who work with x-ray machines, neutron generators, or radioactive substances are monitored for exposure to ionising radiation. The objective of radiation monitoring is to ensure that existing safety procedures keep radiation exposure As Low As Reasonably Achievable (ALARA).
