University Basketball League

Watch our Curtin Carnabys take on Universities from across Australia in an electrifying 2025 season.

What is the University Basketball League (UBL)?

The University Basketball League (UBL) is a national competition now in its 5th year, which brings together 15 universities from across Australia to compete for the national title.

Sanctioned by UniSport Australia and in partnership with Basketball Australia, the league provides student-athletes with a national platform to showcase their talent while balancing their academic pursuits.

2025 Season

The first UBL game will be held on Tuesday 5 August and the season runs for 12 weeks throughout semester 2, featuring both away games in locations across Australia and home games hosted in the Curtin Stadium Main Arena.
