Travel across Australia or compete against our local rivals. There are both participation and competitive opportunities available, meaning everyone has a chance to represent Curtin.
Uni Nationals
Uni Nationals provide an opportunity for students to go head to head in a number of national standard sporting competitions. In 2022, Nationals Div 1 and Div 2 will be held in Perth from 24 to 30 September. For more information on Uni Nationals, visit the UniSport Australia website.
Western Series
UniSport Australia, in conjunction with the five Western Australian universities, runs the Western Series Inter-Varsity competition, a calendar of inter-university events where you can represent Curtin against our Western rivals.
Indigenous Nationals
Indigenous Nationals is a multisport competition for indigenous student-athletes. The annual event brings together student-athletes from universities across Australia to compete in a variety of sports. In 2022, Indigenous Nationals will be hosted by Queensland University of Technology from 26 to 30 June, and will be contested in a mixed competition across four sports: touch football, basketball, netball, and volleyball. University Basketball League
UBL is a student-only competition run by UniSport Australia. 2022 will see 11 universities from around Australia compete in both Men’s and Women’s events over 8 weeks with an additional 2 weeks of finals. Selected players will be required to travel interstate to compete against other universities (in accordance with government guidelines).
