Consumer Representative – Co-design of Consumer Review Workshop
The project
Curtin Involve is planning a workshop for consumers and community members to build confidence in reading and reviewing health research. Participants will learn how to assess whether a study is reliable, relevant, and well-designed, and develop the skills to contribute meaningfully to research discussions using their consumer lens.
The involvement opportunity
We are looking for two consumer representatives to design the workshop with us. Consumer representatives will provide input and feedback on the learning outcomes, structure of the workshop and workshop content.
Skills and experience
Consumer representatives need to have experience reviewing research grant applications. A background in education would be beneficial, but not required.
