Event spaces

Level 7

There are several spaces on TL Robertson Library level 7 that can be booked for events:

The Lantern

The Lantern is a light-filled space with stunning views of the south end of campus, placing you at eye-height of the Henderson Court pines. This space is ideal for workshops, ceremonies and cocktail events.

Prep Space

The Prep Space includes a food preparation area and roof terrace. It is available to book alongside The Lantern or The Glasshouse for catering and events support, or can be booked individually for small events.

Level 4

There are two workshop spaces on level 4 that can be used separately, or together with the removal of a dividing wall. These rooms have in-built audio-visual technology, wall mounted digital screens and a selection of furniture available.

Exhibitions

On level 3, beyond the revolving door, our exhibition space sits pride-of-place. Here we host curated exhibitions developed in collaboration with Curtin partners, providing an informative and fascinating experience for Library visitors.

Check out our current exhibition ‘Learning Unlocked’ that celebrates and explores learning from all angles, from Noongar Learning on Country to virtual reality, and from learning theories to anatomical learning developments through the years.

We also have the ability to host pop-up exhibitions and displays around the level 3 entrance and exhibition area. During semester more than 5,000 people per day move through this space, so it’s a wonderful opportunity to bring your information, services or content to the Curtin community.
