If you’re a woman and in your 2nd or 3rd year of a fine arts degree, you may be eligible to apply for a WA Women’s Society of Fine Arts and Crafts Scholarship!

This scholarship is for students experiencing financial hardship, and will provide a total value of up to $10,000 paid as a cash stipend of $2,500 per semester, for up to a maximum of two years (based on a full-time enrolment of 100 credit points per semester).

The amount can be used at the recipient’s discretion to contribute towards educational related expenses.

Are you eligible?

You must be enrolled in either:

  • Bachelor of Arts (Fine Arts)
  • Bachelor of Creative Arts (Fine Arts)

And you must meet all of the following criteria to be eligible to apply:

  • Australian Citizen, Australian Permanent Resident or the holder of a Permanent Humanitarian Visa
  • Enrolled full-time (minimum 75 credits) or part-time (minimum 50 credits) in the 2nd or 3rd year of an eligible course at Curtin University in semester 1, 2024
  • Minimum course weighted average (CWA) of 65
  • Identify as female
  • Experiencing financial hardship
