Information for staff

Any confirmed or suspected cases of COVID-19 should be urgently referred our Safer Community Team (24/7) on 9266 4444. 

Updates on Curtin’s ongoing response to the COVID-19 pandemic will continue to be provided on this website throughout Semester 2. 

To protect the health of the Curtin community, all staff, students and visitors to campus are requested to:

  • maintain good personal hygiene, including regular handwashing
  • not come onto campus when unwell
  • not hug others or shake hands
  • maintain a physical distance from others whenever possible
  • get tested if you have a fever, cough or sore throat.

Assisting students in need of support

Students who are experiencing stress during this time can be referred to Curtin’s free and confidential support services. These are outlined in the ‘Counselling and guidance’ section of the current students website, available here.

Students experiencing financial difficulties may also be eligible for a range of support programs and should be referred to Curtin Connect for assistance. If students are unable to visit Curtin Connect in person, they contact staff by phone (1300 222 888), book a virtual appointment or complete an online enquiry form. All of these options are outlined on the Curtin Connect website.
