I completed my Bachelor of Science degree at Curtin in 2001, which led to my first career as an Environmental Health Officer in local government. I worked at the City of Subiaco, Shire of Plantagenet (Mount Barker), and the City of Mandurah before taking my career in a new direction and joining the University of Western Australia (UWA) as a Library Officer.
Over the next 20 years at UWA, I completed a Graduate Diploma in Library Studies and progressed through a variety of roles including Librarian, Senior Librarian, Assistant Manager, and most recently, Manager (Student Experience and Learning).
I commenced in the role of Manager, Learning Success at Curtin University on 14 July, and am excited to be working alongside an enthusiastic and dedicated team. I’m committed to fostering a diverse, equitable, and inclusive culture—both in the workplace and in the student experience—and I’m looking forward to embedding these values into my work here.
Outside of work, I enjoy travelling, getting creative with my art (with varying degrees of success!), and listening to live music. I’m also passionate about lifelong learning and am eager to continue developing both personally and professionally in this new role. I’m really looking forward to collaborating with the Library team and supporting the impactful work already underway.
