If you’re planning to study at Curtin University or Curtin College, your English courses can be packaged with your chosen undergraduate, postgraduate, or diploma program to streamline your student visa application and get you to university in one easy path.
We have also introduced an English Language Bridging course* that is taught exclusively online. This online course can be taken by students who have not yet enrolled in any Australian studies, but either they are planning to study at Curtin, or they want to improve their Academic English communication skills for study in Australia.
Study your way

Study in-person
Our classes are designed to be highly interactive; you’ll learn through active participation in collaborative exercises designed to challenge your thinking. You’ll also have access to Curtin’s vibrant, inclusive campus and facilities to help you make the most of your student experience.
General English is available to study face-to-face via Navitas English at their Perth CBD campus. Both Gateway English and English Language Bridging are available to study in-person on the Curtin University Perth Campus.

Study online
Our English Language Bridging course is available to study online if you live overseas and have not yet enrolled in studies at Curtin Unversity*. Our online classes offer you the flexibility to study full-time or part-time from anywhere in the world, in the comfort of your own home. You’ll have ‘live’ classes with your teacher and classmates, interacting as you would face-to-face (10 hours for full-time students; 5 hours for part-time students), as well as 10 hours of self-paced learning to complete (5 hours for part-time students). There are also a number of homework and self-study hours to complete each week.
Your Curtin journey starts here
When you study with Curtin English, you are part of the Curtin community. Whether you study in-person or online, you’ll have access to the same university facilities and resources you get in your undergraduate or postgraduate course, including support services, the Curtin Library, and the Blackboard virtual learning platform.

Our courses
Our courses are accredited by the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency and endorsed by NEAS. What does this mean for you? Exceptional language training, in a certified and regulated program.

Explore Perth
There’s a lot to look forward to outside of the classroom, too. We organise activities and excursions to give you plenty of opportunities to explore Perth, connect with classmates coming from all over the world, and make friends. Live on campus in Curtin accommodation and enjoy the university experience in a safe and supportive environment.
