Interested in being a part of a diverse events team, meet new friends and make an impact to new students coming to Curtin next year?
As an O-Week volunteer, you will be providing support, delivering campus tours, and facilitating exciting experiences to help students feel connected to the Curtin community.
Eligibility
Applications are open for undergraduate and postgraduate students from all study areas studying at Curtin Perth.
Students should also:
- Have completed at least one semester in their course of study.
- Be committed and proactively engage with opportunities.
- Enjoy helping others.
- Have strong communication skills.
Your involvement as a volunteer is pivotal to running and creating an exceptional experience for new Curtin students throughout the week.
Volunteering as an O-Week Volunteer provides you with:
- A 2-hour compulsory training session to prepare you for your role.
- One volunteering t-shirt.
- A chance to be a part of the O-Week events team and meet students from outside your study area.
- The opportunity to develop your leadership, interpersonal, communication and organisation skills in a fun event-based environment.
- Certificate of participation.
