Ever wanted to have a direct impact on the services Curtin provides to students? Here’s your chance to be heard.
Applications are now open for the Students Mentoring Staff program — an exciting Student as Partners initiative where students are matched 1:1 with leaders from the Student Life and Community Team to share insights and experiences that help shape how Curtin supports its students.
The program will run from Monday 11 August to Friday 31 October 2025, with students and staff meeting three times for around 45 minutes per session.
You’ll be paired with a Director, Manager or Team Leader from one of the following areas:
- Student Success
- Counselling and Wellbeing
- Engagement
- Equity and Inclusion
- Community Development
- Cultural Capability
- Student Support
- Office of the Director, Student Life and Community
Your role? Simply bring your authentic student perspective and share how you’ve experienced Curtin’s services. What’s working? What’s missing? What could be done differently?
To thank you for your time and contribution, you’ll receive a $50 gift voucher for each of the three meetings — that’s $150 in total.
Applications are assessed on a first come, first served basis, with a maximum of 20 places available. Once the program is full, the form will close, so apply now to secure your spot before 27 July 2025.
If you’re successful, you’ll receive an email by Friday 1 August 2025 with your match details.
