We are excited to share that Food for Fines is returning to Curtin this July!
From Monday 30 June until Friday 1 August students will have the option to donate non-perishable food items valued at $15 or more in lieu of paying their parking fine.
All donations will be distributed to Feed it Forward, a not-for-profit charity whose core mission is to save surplus food from landfill by diverting it to local families experiencing food insecurity.
Please drop all donations to the Security, Parking and Traffic Office team, located at Building 115, on weekdays between 8am and 3pm.
For full details, including a list of suitable donation items, and to learn more about Feed it Forward, visit the Food for Fines article on the Properties website.
What if I don’t have a parking fine and want to donate to the cause?
If you have some non-perishable items sitting in your pantry that are sealed, undamaged and have a minimum of three months remaining prior to their “Best Before” or “Use By” dates, you are more than welcome to donate them!e them!
