Starting university can be overwhelming but don’t stress! Here are five things you can do to make sure you start your semester ready to hit the ground running.

Spice up your organisation skills! Hop on Notion to store all your notes and research, and even keep track of your schedule. Other platforms that are useful for student organisation can be Evernote, Taskade, Microsoft One Note, Google Calendar or Goodnotes. Explore them all to find a platform that is right for you!

Sign-up for as many activities as you can through your Orientation timetable. Don’t be afraid to join that speed-friending workshop or friendly soccer game! You can also use this week to discover clubs you might be interested in. Visit the Guild website to find all clubs on campus and see what they have to offer! Don’t forget to visit them on O-Day to sign up.

Get yourself familiar with all the good campus spots! Take a guided or self-guided tour around campus to see where your classes will be and explore the best study or lunch spots.

Connect with a Mentor during O-Week. Learn more about the campus and gain valuable tips and tricks from current students. Find out more about how you can connect with a mentor here.

Make the most of your student concession. Don’t miss out on those student perks and get your SmartRider card set up with Transperth. But wait – the discounts don’t stop there! Download UNiDays for exclusive discounts on hundreds of brands both in-store and online.
