Email scam alert – have you recently received an email with the subject ‘Library Services’?

Some Curtin students may have recently received a legitimate looking email informing their access to their Curtin Library Services will expire, and to click on a link to renew their library account.

This has been identified as a scam email. Although CITS have automatically deleted this email from affected inboxes, if you think you may have clicked on the link provided in the email, for security reasons we request that you reset your Curtin password via OASIS . What to do if you think an email might be spam or a scam:

  1. Do not click on any links, open any attachments, or reply to the sender.
  2. Immediately forward the email to spam@curtin.edu.au, and then delete it.
  3. Remain vigilant when using your computer, as this is the best defence against fraudulent and/or mischievous activity. For further information, please contact the CITS Service Desk.
