The Town of Victoria Park and Curtin University have teamed up to get your ideas and input into making sure your voices are heard.

What’s involved?

The Town of Victoria Park wants to partner with people aged 17 to 25 years to attend two Innovation Labs where you’ll become a co-researcher.

In the first session, they would like you to tell them about your experiences living, studying or working in the Town, and brainstorm ideas on how to give others the opportunity to share their experiences too. In the second session, the Town of Victoria Park will summarise what was learnt from you and ask for feedback to make sure everything was understood correctly.

What’s in it for you?

The opportunity to have your say on your community’s future, test your leadership skills and receive a $50 gift card and a signed certificate from the Mayor recognising your contribution to making a difference. Plenty of food and drinks will be supplied during the labs as well.

Head to the Town of Victoria Park website for more information and to apply.

This study has been approved by the Curtin Human Research Ethics Committee (HRE2019-0145).
