In its third year running, Talent For Tomorrow has become more than just a competition. It’s a launchpad for rising stars, and a campus tradition where the Curtin community comes together to celebrate bold, creative talent.
And this year, the spotlight could be yours.
Whether you’ve been quietly mastering your skill or waiting for a moment to be seen, this is your chance. Step up, stand out, and show us what you’ve got.
What’s Talent For Tomorrow?
A live talent show held in August 6 in Week 3 of Semester 2, featuring Curtin students, staff, and alumni. It’s your chance to perform in front of a cheering crowd, gain exposure, and walk away with career-building prizes.
This year’s prizes are bigger than ever
First place
$1,000 cash and the opportunity to perform at Curtin’s February 2026 Graduation Ceremonies (paid opportunity up to $10,000).
Second place
The runner-up will receive cash prize of $500
People’s Choice Award
Determined by the audience, the winner will win a cash prize of $250.
And that’s not all! High-placing acts may be invited to perform at other Curtin events, including the Alumni Festival and more.
Who can enter?
We welcome individual or group acts across a variety of genres:
- Singing
- Dance
- Bands
- Instrumentalists (non-vocal)
- Comedy or skits
- Magic
- Or any unexpected, unforgettable talents you’d bring to the stage
How to submit your expression of interest
Submit a short video showcasing your talent along with your Expression of Interest form.
Ensure that you prepare a viewable link of your video via sites like YouTube, cloud storage or social media.
