Kalgoorlie Open Day is happening at Curtin Kalgoorlie Campus on Thursday, 21 August, and we’re looking for enthusiastic student volunteers to help make the event a success.
This is a great chance to build your leadership, communication, and organisation skills! All while helping prospective students and their families explore what Curtin has to offer.
Volunteer roles include:
- Welcome Desk – Greet attendees, hand out tote bags, answer questions, and help guests find their way.
- Activity Liaison – Support a specific activity or zone and help everything run smoothly.
- School Liaison – Be the key contact for a visiting school and help groups get to their sessions.
- Talent Release Forms – Assist our photographer by collecting signed photo waivers.
- Activations & Competitions – Run fun activities like “Spin the Wheel” and help with giveaways.
What’s involved?
- Attend a volunteer briefing (details to come
- Be available from 9:30am – 3:00pm on the day
- Enjoy lunch and receive a Curtin volunteer t-shirt
- Celebrate with a Thank You Sundowner at 3:30pm
