This course serves as your entry pathway to the Master of Business Administration (MBA), but can also be taken as a challenging stand-alone course.
It offers you a foundation in economics, financial decision making and organisational behaviour.
You can customise your degree by selecting an optional unit, including on marketing, human resource strategies, leadership, and international oil and gas markets. Many of these units are tied to an MBA specialisation, which will help facilitate your transition to this course, should you wish to continue studying

What you need in order to get into this course. There are different pathway options depending on your level of work and education experience.
For applicants without an undergraduate degree, a minimum of eight (8) years of professional work experience including five (5) years in a managerial capacity.
Or, a bachelor degree, plus at least a minimum of five (5) years of professional work experience including three (3) years in a managerial capacity.
You will be required to submit supplementary information with your application.
Note: All applicants will need to submit a copy of their CV/Resume highlighting prior work experience and roles that they have held.
Applicants will be assessed for English based on the supplementary documentation you supply, for further information contact the MBA.Programs email address.
Curtin requires all applicants to demonstrate proficiency in English. The personal statement written and provided by applicants will be used as an assessment to meet the English language requirement for the course.
