On 12 September 2017, the government will be conducting a postal survey on Australian marriage law. As such, the rights of the LGBTIQ+ community continue to be a topic of local and national conversation. If this brings up any issues for you, Curtin has a range of free and confidential support services available.

If you feel that you need support with issues of sexuality or gender, are ever subjected to any forms of homophobia, or just want to talk to someone, there are a wide array of LGBTIQ+ services you can access at Curtin, including:

There are also a number of ways we can all stand with members of the LGBTIQ+ community, including the Student Ally Program, open to anyone who wants to express support for the rights of gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and intersex people.
