Outline

If you're a leader looking to make a difference, or a professional wanting to advance your career, hone your skills in ethical decision-making, sustainability and social responsibility.

This graduate certificate explores the importance of making effective strategies and discusses the legal, managerial and ethical issues that affect corporate governance.

You’ll immerse yourself in real-life scenarios and issues from a range of industries, including government, corporate, and community sectors, and formulate creative, sustainable solutions. You’ll also discover how to communicate persuasively and insightfully with diverse audiences, including corporate executives and board directors.

If you have less than three years of leadership experience, you’ll learn how to critically analyse leadership and unpack the role leaders play in building sustainable organisations. If you’re an experienced leader, you’ll explore how to make responsible decisions during periods of crisis and recovery.

This course is designed to be studied fully online, but if you prefer to study face-to-face, you will have access to classes at Curtin Perth in Bentley and our Perth City locations, including classes which run intensively.*

*Intensive classes give you the opportunity to complete parts of your coursework around your schedule. These classes may be offered across one week, or distributed days across 2 or 3 weeks.

Upon completion, you may be eligible for the following three Master programs:

  • Master of Corporate Governance and Leadership (co-designed with the Governance Institute of Australia)
  • Master of Innovation and Entrepreneurship
