The Research Integrity training, located in the Blackboard organisation Research Integrity and HDR Essentials, will undergo a scheduled update on Monday, 2 February 2026. This update includes complete refreshes of all module content and quiz questions, provided by the program’s external content developer.
What is changing?
While the number of modules will remain the same, all module content and all quiz questions will be replaced. From 2 February, the current material will no longer be accessible.
Who is affected?
All HDR students who are required to complete Research Integrity training prior to Milestone 1.
If you already have an overall Pass
Students who have passed all 13 module quizzes already hold an overall Pass and do not need to take any further action. Your result will remain visible in Blackboard.
If you have not yet achieved a Pass
Students who have not passed all 13 quizzes must choose one of the following options:
- Complete all current quizzes by Sunday 1 February 2026 with an overall passing grade; or
- Begin the updated modules and quizzes from Monday, 2 February 2026.
Please note: From 2 February, access to the current content and quizzes will be removed. Students who have not completed all 13 modules by this date will need to restart the training using the updated content.
Why is the update happening?
The program’s external provider has released a new version of the training. This ensures HDR students receive the most current information and guidance on responsible conduct of research.
