Throughout the past year, you have been sharing your thoughts at our Feedback Hubs in our Perth and Kalgoorlie campuses, as well as online. We see them and we’ve been listening! From redesigning key systems to shaping new spaces and events, your ideas are driving real change across Curtin.
Here are 10 ways your feedback has made an impact in 2025.

1. You’re helping redesign OASIS
Your feedback showed where OASIS was confusing or hard to navigate. That input is guiding a full redesign of its structure and layout, making it easier to find what you need, when you need it.

2. You’ve influenced how we communicate
Your insights are helping shape how Curtin communicates with you about student news, events and support, ensuring our messages are engaging and relevant.

3. You’re driving career learning
Your feedback is helping to build the case for embedding career development directly into courses, making career readiness a core part of study.

4. You’ve shaped our wellbeing framework
Your feedback helped pinpoint priority areas for Curtin’s Mental Health and Wellbeing Framework, ensuring future initiatives focus where students need support most.

5. You helped name our chatbot: Atlas
We can’t wait for you to meet the new Curtin Connect Chatbot, Atlas! You also told us what matters most in a digital assistant such as reliability, accuracy and help with enrolment and citations, all of which are guiding its design.

6. You’re influencing opening hours
Your feedback helped Curtin Connect understand when students most need support. That data is now being used to make the case for extended hours during busy times.

7. Design Jams are more student-friendly
Based on your input, Design Jams are now held at times that work best for students, with stronger industry involvement and topics that matter to you, like sustainability and education.

8. You’ve energised Curtin Arcade
Your suggestions led to more board games, craft supplies and sensory-friendly options, plus themed events like Spooktober and winter pop-ups with free food and hot drinks. The Arcade is now a space designed by and for students to relax, connect and recharge.

9. You’re helping design the Living Room
Opening in 2026, the new Living Room – a welcoming space for students to receive peer support – is being designed with your ideas front and centre.

10. You’ve inspired new career resources
We’ve used your ideas to create a second series of Career Ready videos on YouTube and to expand on-campus networking events like Jobs & Employability Week. You asked for more practical advice and real connections, and we’re listening.
Keep the feedback coming
Every time you stop by a Feedback Hub or participate in a Curtin survey or feedback activity, you’re helping shape what Curtin does next, from small improvements to big initiatives that make uni life better for everyone!
