Disability assistance for visitors
If you have particular needs related to a disability or medical condition and are attending a Curtin event or Curtin campus, please contact the organisers of the visit or event to discuss your needs.
Curtin’s AccessAbility Services advise on:
- access requirements
- parking
- hearing loops
- Auslan interpreters
- information in alternative formats
- other needs as required.
Please give us as much notice as possible prior to your visit. Levels of assistance may vary across campuses.
The Curtin Safer Community team can assist with access needs at Curtin Perth, Technology Park, Perth CBD and Kalgoorlie campuses.
Carers and companions
Curtin is an affiliate of the Western Australia Companion Card Program, which gives people with disability equitable access to Curtin community activities and events.
Under this program, Curtin has agreed to issue cardholders with a second ticket to Curtin events for their companions at no additional cost. The cardholder will be required to present the card when making the request.
Carers on campus
If you would like to bring a carer on campus please view our insurance options and requirements.
