Registered Nurse Conversion – Non-Registration Nurse stream: This stream is ideal for nurses who already hold registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse.

(Division 1), and want to advance their qualification from diploma level to bachelor degree. 

The stream builds on your professional knowledge and experience as a registered nurse and enhances your capability as a member of an interprofessional team in a changing healthcare system.

You will study research, evidence informed practice and the biological and behavioural sciences that underlie nursing. You will be encouraged to problem solve, identify and assess the needs of individuals and families.

The stream can also help you establish a basis for future postgraduate study, specialisation and research.

Completion of this stream leads to a Bachelor award but does not lead to registration with the Nurses and Midwives Board in Australia.

A recognised three-year Australian Qualification Framework Diploma (or equivalent); proof of professional registration; minimum three months’ full-time clinical nursing experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute setting; provision of a current résumé, job description and statement of employment.
