This internship specialisation provides students with internship opportunities in becoming job-ready graduates. Students in courses without professional work experience are strongly encouraged to enrol in this specialisation.

What you'll learn

  • generate evidence of professional capability from the practical elements of the professional experience being undertaken, for the purposes of completing the performance assessment, GC1, GC2, GC3, GC4, GC5, GC6
  • demonstrate professional knowledge that reflects an understanding of the industry and workplace, GC1, GC6
  • demonstrate professional engagement in continued professional learning, improving practice, professional responsibilities, meeting of ethical, legislative, administrative and organisational requirements and positive relationships with colleagues, industry partners and the wider community, GC3, GC4
  • apply core discipline-specific skills and knowledge with an employer working in a professional capacity, GC1, GC6
  • explain the application of key concepts to the specific workplace context, GC1, GC3, GC6
  • apply professional behaviours, including ethics, effective communication skills and teamwork, GC3, GC5, GC6
  • evaluate the role of self-reflection in the development of skills for competent professional practice, GC2, GC6
