This course has been developed to provide graduates with the opportunity to expand their knowledge in the field of clinical exercise physiology across a range of target pathologies and population groups. - Apply clinical exercise physiology principles and approaches in the treatment and management of persons at high risk of developing, or with existing chronic and complex clinical presentations drawing upon current research to guide clinical decision making
- Incorporate creativity and initiative to formulate, implement and critically evaluate effective exercise physiology practice
- Source and synthesise complex information and evidence using a range of technologies; apply professional and independent judgement to exercise physiology practice
- Exemplify highly developed communication and technical skills, both written and verbal, to effectively design, apply and justify professional practice with clients, health professionals and stakeholders
- Integrate appropriate technologies to create, amend and validate exercise interventions and professional decisions based on scientific evidence and clinical reasoning

Admission criteria
Applicants require a three-year Bachelor degree in Exercise and Sport Science or Human Movement from an Exercise and Sports Science Australia level 1 accredited course with a CWA (course weighted average) of at least 60.
Curtin requires all applicants to demonstrate proficiency in English. Specific English requirements for this course are outlined in the IELTS table below.
