Many contemporary health issues are preventable but require complex, innovative solutions. Health promotion action not only strengthens individual skills and capabilities but also influences social, environmental, political and economic conditions to improve health.
The Graduate Certificate in Health Promotion is designed to provide knowledge of the major health promotion principles, strategies politics and systems, and develop introductory skills to design, implement and evaluate programs.
The course will prepare graduates to apply learning in diverse settings in the field of health promotion, or expand on existing experience and research abilities. This course enhances the skills of graduates with a responsibility for health promotion as a part of employment.
